Wrote a fair bit of code today, though I haven't quite gotten around to writing tests for it yet. (It was embarrassing but also smugly h4x0rm0d3-pleasing when a houseguest wanted to use the scanner on this computer, I said "sure, just let me get this function written", and I surfaced an hour and several functions later having blanked it right out for the interim.)

Kajukenbo was less strenuous today, or I'm getting used to it, but too much for my feeble kinesthetic mental capacity. Back kick, sweep-and-block (hard time remembering the pieces here), slo-mo sparring, further Monkey form (head explody here), got mouthguard, remind me to install it sometime.

Normally I try to remember things by writing them down, but that's not going to help with the Monkey.

Oh, global message to all: "99 to Denny to Boren to Union to 22nd" may sound a nice simple route to try, but it does not work. Union just doesn't go from there to there. Need a map not full of lies.

Union pretty well falls down on the job once you cross Broadway. Where are you trying to get to on 22nd? My autopilot goes Denny -> Boren -> James (morphs into) Cherry -> home. But if you were, say, trying to get to Seattle Kajukenbo, I might go Denny -> Boren -> Pike -> Broadway -> Union. Or investigate whether it's Pike or Pine that goes through Madison nicely, and take that one all the way to 22nd.

Or just use a better map/website....
