eub | glass breaks

My kettle-corn-making smoked the kitchen up, so I went to open the back door and a kitchen window. It was stuck. I guess some force wasn't directed upwards on the sash -- a pane broke under my palm, spilling curved shards onto the toaster. It drew a speck of blood, painlessly, at a single point. Maybe the crux of the break?

I don't expect glass to break so easily.
