Dec. 18th, 2001 08:50 pmWhen I went to cook some dinner, I found a container of chili sitting on the stove. I must have taken it out when I was repacking the freezer last night, and forgotten to put it back it. It was warm from the pilot light. I threw it away.
It's utterly trivial, but it struck me. I'm distressed that a small mistake means that a container of the result of several hours of cooking and shopping and working is destroyed. I am not at peace with entropy.
