no email

The machine where I get email went down "for reboot NOW !!" around noon and has not come back yet, so no mail for me for an unknown while. Sorry, telephone it is. But I have an answering machine! (Thanks.)

Oh, I guess I should remember to check my gmail account now, if the GmailFS wankers haven't hosed it.

[EDIT 7:43 pm -- mail is back. Part of Pittsburgh lost power this afternoon. It does that.]
