Sequel to The King's Peace. Pretty much what I said about that I say again about this; it completes the story well. And the story is different enough from what I'm guessing we know as "the King Arthur story" that there's scope for tension and surprise. I liked it.


The bit in the weird forest about light and darkness didn't ring true for me in this story. Sort of like an unassimilated lump of Le Guin.
