stationery
Aug. 21st, 2002 01:49 pmI need to write some letters of sympathy for a death, and all the paper I have is three-hole punched or torn out of a spiral notebook, so I went looking in several drugstores and supermarkets. They do have stationery sets: printed with flowers, and with dancing M&Ms, and with cute animals, and with fruits, and with old-time household implements. They do have blank cards, but the front is not blank: the front has a sad dog, or a child at play, or a rearing horse. I ended up with an unlined notebook, which is fine except for the translucency of the paper.
Yeah, I know a stationery store should have something. It's just odd to me that neutral writing paper is apparently a specialized item
