Discovery Park
Ooh, new park. I like it. It keeps going further down and further in, woods opening into windy meadow, seaside bluffs, stairs and landings zigzagging down through young maples that feel like a miniature of a Béla Kalman photo of people dwarfed by uncannily towering tree trunks, down the road past the large stinky sewage treatment plant, down to the south shore, and finally east to the point where the beach ends, where I watched the waves smash and radiate back off the bluffs. People have built sculptures and structures in the driftwood.
