I saw the sun

I saw the sun and I put off shaving the right half of my face, stuffed color film in the camera, threw on shoes, and went out to take a picture of the tree across the street. This is the one I keep forgetting to shoot each day before the sun sets, and before it loses its leaves for the year.

Then there was another colorful tree up the street, and a tree around the corner that I blitzed through half the roll on, and sagging jack-o-lanterns, why not? Maybe sometimes to spend film like water makes everything beautiful, or maybe it's the other way around.
