I love the way the signs just erase parts of the lamppost and only show sky.

I'm beginning to get the hang of this digicam's behavior under stress -- bright/dark edges are just nasty-looking, but defocused points are tolerable once you stop expecting smoothness, and the CCD's highlight saturation can be pretty, as in the tree there tipped chartreuse. (It'll never be Tri-X, though.)
