I wanted a bottle of yellow chartreuse. The Washington State Liquor Control Board web-inventory said there existed precisely one bottle of yellow chartreuse within Seattle city limits, in a Northgate store. Driving there was such a remarkable clusterfuck that I just had to laugh hollowly.
