Celia is adopted

I went to an adoption event today, at a school near Swanson's but not the one right by it, and Celia was snapped up. I found her a family whose parents have cat experience and sound good with them, kids ages four and up with reasonable petting manners. They would like to adopt two female cats at once, which is known to be a tricky operation, but the other cat likes cats, and if it goes well Celia will have company, which she wants. They have my phone number.

Afterwards I visited the cats still there, and chatted with the other fosterers. Random: one of them had gone to CMU.

Need to go eat some more. The oatmeal this morning is petering out.

Yeah. It seems a good thing to do.

And I talked to a fellow who seemed interested in how it worked, and about the monthlyish orientation sessions, so with luck I'm a cat fosterer recruiter.

She is always good for sufficiently cat-like notions of "good". I hope the household does work out for her.
