how can I be burping this much?

I can't possibly be swallowing that much air. Am I infested with methanogens? Should I burp into an evacuated glass tube with high-voltage electrode and examine the emission lines?

Do you have problems with stomach acid? I used to burp a lot more before I started taking the ranitidine.

I doubt you really need to, but dude, high-voltage electrode. Mad Science compels you!

I'll second this one...

I had bad burping days when I would eat something with an oil that my digestive system didn't like. Sometimes I'd have acid reflux too, but mostly just a lot of burping and tasting food again. For me it's probably cottonseed or palm oil.

It's a possibility...

Yes, but my answer has nothing to do with methanogens.
