I told you I wasn't making up the gelatinous mutant coconut sport balls.

That was a great gathering. I haven't done lying on the floor for a long time. Our floor is not so comfy for it, but the ceiling looked cool, and we simulated being fucked up and didn't need to simulate being random. Amazing the change in party structure that a disco light can stimulate.

Sean and I must have spent half an hour standing in the gear room listening to a patch on the Doepfer (analog modular synth). He suggested mp3 streaming it, just that. This reminds me of a suggestion Murray Schafer made to put microphones in all kinds of places -- on a seaside cliff, in the Takla Makan, sunk in a pond, up a tree -- and broadcast each one on its own radio station. That had the obstacle of spectrum shortage, but not any more. Still has mic rot and people seeking them out to spam them with herbal viagra ads, but it might be doable now.

You remember the melon that I hoped was tasty because it was dessert? It was in fact tasteless, and was unanimously agreed not to be dessert. It tasted like jicama, I say. Entertaining, anyway.

It was entertaining. Particularly when we tried to convince Sean it was good :-)

It was a great gathering. I really enjoyed everyone!
