Lovely pictures, but not quite what we call "beach" around here :-). The bubbles are fun in an artistic sense but to me at least intensely worrying from an environmental point of view.
Weeeeeelllll, there are certainly naturally irridescent phenomena that also rely on being near the wavelength of light for their effect. I'm sure it's something like that, yeah.
