( If you want to hear about training in interpersonal communication )
It was raining well this morning, but by the afternoon it was bright and clear. I ducked out and took pictures of the stones. Said hi to the fellow who does them; didn't ask him "so, what's the deal with this?" I mean, does he come at this as a street artist, or High Artist, or thoughtful panhandler who read about Andy Goldworthy, or what. And did he simply learn it by doing it? Drystone work, no dodges, at least on the one stone I watched him set. He was proud of that tall thin tower, and I would be too.

After work I took pictures of Lenin, and other lit things. Sadly, half of him is not working, some strings are pulled down, and there are crushed bulbs and shards of fine glass on the sidewalk. Nekulturnie. I suppose one has to consider glass on the sidewalk when one puts bulbs around, but bah.
