Excellent fine party. Yay beaq and other organizers and housemates, and people who came, especially with torches.

• that's not ice, it's polyacrylamide gel.
  
• LN2 tossed high enough and landing in a pool of water blows smoke rings -- same rings are blown when you push a floating bit of it underwater with a rubber duck.
  
• corivax and flata showing beadmaking -- fun!
  
• randomdreams's beads: floating spirals from clear-and-black cane twisted and melted into clear, reaction of turquoise with ivory glass, facety beads by forming clear towers on small opaque dots on base and melting them down, ethanol molecule.
  
• the principle that the bead will draw itself to a sphere, glass pushing glass away to get there.
  
• gold razored off the inside of a vacuum deposition chamber.
  
• I had once before discovered but since totally forgotten how much nicer a didj tone you get with plastic pipe by nesting one loosely partly-inside another.
  
• katybeth roasting a marshmallow in the residual heat of the kiln.

We finally finished the whipped cream left over from the party two nights ago. The beans and tortillas went a lot faster.
