Hey anyone still around here, do you have a favorite Dreamwidth style that's basic, readable, and functional?

• decent contrast
  
• clean
  
• but has the necessary design to represent the structure clearly
  
• ABSOLUTELY NO AMATEUR TYPOGRAPHY FUN TIMES
  

(Dreamwidth has "themes" which are groups of "styles" which affect your normal, and also has "skins" which affect site pages, and there are "layouts" that modify styles and skins? It's as if some people are more into customizing their journal presentation than I am.)

Why do so many styles squash together the characters like this does with "Recent Entries"?

The inspector says they gave the text a "letter-spacing: -.1em;"

It looks non-hideous with that off. But I don't think Trebuchet does small caps very well anyway.
