I'm really bad about racking promptly after the primary fermentation. That cyser from November was still sitting there on the lees. Pretty musty, but maybe a couple more years will help. To free up a carboy I dumped the half of the TRASH-juice cider that had gone bad (sorbate didn't work) and bottled the other. That batch's bottlecap icon is a snail, viz. me. Okay, carboy free, racked the cyser into it. It's easier to get cinnamon sticks into a carboy than to get them out.
