eubI'd been running a sleep deficit for days, and by 2am last night I was so exhausted I couldn't get to sleep. Dee thought this was weird. Maybe, but unfortunately it happens to me.
It occurs to me that some time this century the wealthy are likely to dabble in engineered neotenous pets. New from Disney-Novartis, the 2023 model EverkittenTM.
I was on Walnut St. this afternoon and on impulse stopped in at My Thai for their mango and sticky rice dessert. What you get is a sectioned slab of mango, and a wodge of sticky rice. I would never in a million years have invented this, but it's exquisite. The rice is sweetish from coconut milk, and a little bit salty, and textured like that dim sum rice in lotus leaves, and the mellowness of the coconut milk goes well with the piney/camphoraceous pungency that the mango has some of.
