another stereo-camera moment

The paint on our bathroom door is pale brown, showing old yellow where stiff bristles left tracks missing in the brown. In raking sunlight, you also see lines of thinness in the brown glowing like a jack-o-lantern carved half-through, and everything is overlaid with a minute polychromatic glitter like light through hair. The catch is that the glitter only stands out with both eyes open, seeing it incoherent between the two.

In other news, your stinging nettles out here are fucking brutal.

Hey Eli, you know if you can find a used camera show, or hey, ebay, you can pick up a Stereo Realist for 100-$250. They're good solid bricks with excelent lenses, and shoot 35mm film. (It's a little hard to explain the format to 1hr lab guys, but good ones can do it.)
