It withered very soon, sadly.

Might I dry it anyway before making tea from it? The hibiscus blossoms I bought at the supermarket (and haven't made tea from yet) are dried, and I hope they aren't flavorless.

They probably weren't bred for taste, but they're probably fine (though you might want to check & make sure there isn't some strain of hibiscus that's poisonous or any such little detail).
