If I could post a poll, it would go like this:

Biweekly ((biweek)ly?) streetcleaning is
1) a valuable service provided by the city.
2) a pain in the butt.
3) both of the above.
0) neither of the above.

Definitely "both of the above". I like being able to see the curb before I hit it while parking, but I hate trying to remember to be up and on my way to work by 8:30am. :)

I'd opt for "both of the above", personally.

You might want to look at the LJ poll creator (http://www.livejournal.com/poll/create.bml). It's not the most intuitive UI, but it generates the code for you. A word of warning: once you post a poll, you can't go back to edit your spelling.

Okay. Trying again. You should be able to link to the poll by making a new entry with this as the text:

Both of the above. I've lived places where they didn't clean the streets, and it got kind of yucky in late fall. On the other hand, it would be nice if they could start a little later in the morning.

Biweekly means every two weeks; twice a week would be semi-weekly, which no one ever actually says because it sounds funky. I don't know if the definition of semi-[time period] specifies equal spacing; it's certainly the common understanding. (So semi-annual means every 6 months, but is it correct to apply the term to "every Sepember and October"?)
