First, to avoid confusion when I proceed to whine, let me state that these "23:59" timestamps are mildly adjusted backwards to fall on what I see as the proper side of the behavioral day divider, since as far as I can tell LJ does not allow me to configure it to the true value, viz. 6 am.

As to the whining, it concerns the GUI date/time setter in the WinXP control panel. When you (inc|dec)rement the time across midnight, the date does not change. So what you've done is accidentally set your date off by one day. Pardon me while I go edit the dates on today's LJ entries...

Hi, may I just say "crement" in situations like these?

This is one of the reasons why I have fought against switching to Mozilla as the "standard" browser at work. That and the insane slowness. I should not be able to type faster than the browser can render the characters on a >1GHz machine.

The focus problems also distress me, but I found the C-n C-w workaround. I just don't know what else to use, since NS4 is decrepit and IE is a public menace. Should try Galeon for native-widget zippiness.

This is totally unrelated to everything, but, why are you eUb? In my name, 'U' stands for Ursula, but that seems doubtful in your case.... just curious.

Underhill. Proper hobbity name.

(So you are muh? I can see a cutely nonplussed anime character saying that, "muh?")

Underhill is a *great* hobbit name. wheeeeee.

i am muh. my friend Randi prounces it 'moo'.

'muh', pronounced phonetically, sounds like something Kermit would say. Thats not bad either.
