oh for fuck's sake
May. 16th, 2002 11:59 pmFirst, to avoid confusion when I proceed to whine, let me state that these "23:59" timestamps are mildly adjusted backwards to fall on what I see as the proper side of the behavioral day divider, since as far as I can tell LJ does not allow me to configure it to the true value, viz. 6 am.
As to the whining, it concerns the GUI date/time setter in the WinXP control panel. When you (inc|dec)rement the time across midnight, the date does not change. So what you've done is accidentally set your date off by one day. Pardon me while I go edit the dates on today's LJ entries...
Hi, may I just say "crement" in situations like these?
FOR CRYING OUT LOUD BANG MOZILLA COMMA QUIT TOGGLING THE VERTICAL SCROLLBAR ON AND OFF WITH EACH CHARACTER I TYPE STOP

Date: 2002-05-17 08:18 am (UTC)This is one of the reasons why I have fought against switching to Mozilla as the "standard" browser at work. That and the insane slowness. I should not be able to type faster than the browser can render the characters on a >1GHz machine.
